...diorama dollhouse decor, photo on metal A set of 2 tiny portrait photos of the same young woman (or twins - the eyes are light on the one image and appear *much* darker on the other), dating late Victorian - Edwardian Era. She looks like she could have gone to Hogwarts! They are identically matted in a cream paper with an embossed laurel wreath. These little photographs were taken on metal (tintypes) and are known as gem tintypes. They would be perfect for a special scrapbooking project, of to use in a diorama or (haunted) doll house project. Condition: marks of age and use, and scuffing / slight staining to the cream mats Size: metal carrier size ca 1 x 3/4 inch (visible part in the oval is ca 3/4 x 5/8 inches) Card size just under 4 x 2.5 inches
