Vintage 1960s LEMON GROVE Kathie Winkle MCM Yellow Flower Side Plates - Set of 2 Beautiful mid century hand-painted ironstone dinnerware from Broadhurst Potteries in the ‘Lemon Grove’ pattern designed by the renowned artist Kathie Winkle. Her work is classic and has stood the test of time. According to designer Kate Beavis, "Kathie started her career as a painter (or a paintress as was called then) at Broadhurst Potteries in 1950. However, it took until 1958 for her to start designing her own patterns. She stayed with them until the 1970s, and she produced more than 100 eye catching designs.
