Set of 2 MCM Arnart Japan bow tie cat figurines, anthropomorphic porcelain cats

...in hats, cartoon kittens kitsch collectibles 2 sweet and rare to find little cat figurines, each with a big cartoonish eyes, the classic Arnart red bow tie and a hat. One wears a captain´s hat in blue, the other a flat boater in red. Both have similar age related wear to the painted finish (see images) but I found no breaks or chips. They would originally have had a little chain to the front that would connect them to a larger figurine. The little loop is there and whole, should you wish to source a new chain for them. Marked underneath JAPAN in red, they date ca 1950-1960s. These would be perfect for a growing collection or nursery decor. Size: 4-1/8 and 3-5/8 inches tall (10.5 cm and 9.2 cm)
