Enjoy this lovely plate for display! likely from Villeroy & Boch's sought after "Flamand Bleu" series. It is in MINT condition with no cracks, breaks, or
damage. It is blue and white with images of a
picturesque forest scene.
Villeroy & Boch was founded in the
French village Audun-le-Tiche in 1748. The
company moved to Luxembourg at a later date
where it became a porcelain factory. In 1801,
the company moved to the nearby city of
Mettlach, Germany. The company merged on
April 14, 1836 with that of Nicolas Villeroy, after
it became Villeroy & Boch.
This is a lovely piece that would make the
perfect gift for a collector!
