Set of 2 vintage wood owls

This is a set of 2 carved wood owls, unsure of the type of wood used. Can be used as serving dishes or wall hangings ( the smaller owl has wire attached to back to hang, the bigger owl does not). The smaller owl does have slight damage to one ear ( see last picture ).
