Set of 4 Demitasse Teacups and saucers

This is a set of 4 porcelain demitasse tea cups and saucers. They are generously adorned with gold and each piece has a painting reminiscent of a Fragonard work, with a couple in period costume courting in front of a pillar. There are no chips, cracks or crazing but there is wear, especially of the gold on the saucers. The cups stand 1 1/2" tall and are 2 3/4" wide at the mouth. The saucers are 4 1/2" across.
