Set of six rare mid century modern Johnson Brothers stoneware plates - "Bamboo"

Set of six rare mid century modern Johnson Brothers stoneware plates in the "Bamboo" pattern. Such wonderful colours and design and with little in the way of wear. In the 1950s, bamboo was often featured in mid century modern design as it was associated with far-off and exotic climes. This is a stunning set and if I didn't already have too many vintage plates, I would keep them!
