Shawnee Pottery Porky Pig Planter #3 Anthropomorphic Pig Boy MCM Vintage

This is a lovely Porky Pig small indoor planter or toothpick holder. It's unmarked, but the consensus is that these were made by Shawnee Pottery. Inspired by Porky Pig character, introduced by Warner Brothers in 1935. Mid-Century Modern, made in the 1940s-1950s. Hand painted with glossy glaze. Excellent vintage condition with very fine old age crazing.
