Shelridge Farm Sweater Phantom Fish Cardigan Kit with buttons and pattern

20 years ago I bought this kit from the lovely ladies at Shelridge Farm. I also picked out the buttons -- adorable little brass domes with fish and shells. I hand-wound two of the skeins into balls, but that was it. I never made a swatch, I never circled my sizes -- nothing. I never started this project and I am never going to. My laziness is your opportunity. The yarn is Shelridge Yarns "Soft Touch W4" -- 100% worsted weight wool in two colourways -- 4 each of "Turquoise" and "Reef". Shelridge Yarns does not produce this yarn any more. The pattern, by Mabel Corlett, is not longer available from any source. Similar buttons on Etsy will run you $3 - $5 each. The kit comes with all the wool you need to knit this gorgeous cardigan in small, medium or large. The pattern is included, as are the buttons and a zippered project bag. This kit cost me $160 in 2004. If you were able to recreate it in currently available yarns and notions, it would cost over $240 plus tax. Please give it new life in your knitting basket!
