The hallmark of a Shoes Like Pottery shoe is the vulcanising, or the 'ka-ryu' process in Japanese. Performed by only a select handful of shoe manufacturers around the world, for the final step of manufacturing, each shoe is fired in a kiln just like pottery where this brand gets its name. This causes the sulfur compound mixed into the raw rubber to chemically react, resulting in a soft, flexible, supple and durable sole with natural elasticity with a beautiful silhouette. Above all, Shoes Like Pottery features high-quality, beautifully textured fabric, hand-sewn and assembled by the skilled craftsmen of Kurume, Japan. Product Features Contrasting blue sole and wax stamp style detail Rubber toe cap Kiln fired vulcanised rubber sole Metal eyelets Cushioned insoles Double ventilation eyelets on the inside foot Hand sewn and assembled Made in Japan Materials Navy blue Canvas upper Vulcanised rubber sole Size US 7 Used only once. No signs of wear except on the outer sole. Like new!
