This is "The Short Stories of John Steinbeck," published by The Viking Press in 1963. It has olive green cloth covered boards, silver lettering on the cover inside a red panel, and silver and red lettering on the spine. The pages are deckle edged. There is no Dust Jacket.
Included stories are: Tortilla Flat, The Red Pony, Of Mice and Men, The Moon Is Down, Cannery Row, and The Pearl.
Here are six of John Steinbeck's most widely read and beloved novels. From the tale of commitment, loneliness and hope in Of Mice and Men, to the tough yet charming portrait of people on the margins of society in Cannery Row, to The Pearl's examination of the fallacy of the American dream, Steinbeck told stories of realism that were imbued with energy and resilience.
As you can see from the photos, it is in very good condition. There is a little wear to the cover and spine along with bumped corners. There is an embossed previous owners name inside the front cover. The pages are very clean, only slightly yellowed. The binding is tight and sound. Please see the photos.
