Silver And Gold Large Russian Orthodox Cross

The cross is 925 Silver with 24k gold. The "Resurrection" pectoral cross, in its form and iconographic content, echoes Byzantine encolpions of the 10th-12th centuries. On the obverse is a three-figure depiction of the icon "Resurrection – Descent into Hell." On the reverse side, in the center, is a round medallion with a four-pointed cross and the inscription ІС ХС НИКА (Isus Christ, Victor). This is the most ancient inscription on crosses, established by Emperor Constantine.
