A vintage tea service including a teapot, sugar bowl and creamer along with a platter. They have different makers. The teapot has a ribbed design, an engraved "R" and is stamped "Victorian Plate," which was a trademark of Lipman-Levinster which operated in Canada in the 1920s and 30s. The platter is marked "Primrose Plate" which is a name used by Birks in Montreal. The platter has some wear and its base metal is brass. The sugar bowl and creamer are a matching pair and are decorated with floral designs on their handles and feet.
The platter is 14" in width.
The teapot is 8 1/4" to the top of the lid and the body is 4 1/2" between the spout and handle.
The sugar bowl is 4 1/8" tall to the top of its lid and 3" wide without the handles.
The creamer is 2 1/4" tall and 3" wide between the spout and handle.
