Silver Plated Butter Dish -Viking Plate by Lipman-Levister

A lidded butter dish made in Canada in the Viking Plate line by Lipman-Levinster industries, which operated in the 1920s and 1930s. The plate has decorative perforations along its rim in a floral type pattern; the lid is solid metal (i.e. no plastic knob). There is some tarnish and the plate has a few dings. The lid is 4 1/2" wide and is 1 3/4" tall while the plate is about 7 1/4" in diameter.
