Silver Vintage Pill / Trinket Box or Compact

Silver Vintage Pill / Trinket Box or Compact There is no sterling stamp on this box that I can see, so I’m not positive what it’s made of. I have polished all the tarnish off, and it behaves like silver in that it does tarnish with time. It’s a decent weight for its size of 2.5” x 1.5”. There’s fine detail engraving on the top, all four sides, and the bottom. As you can see on the photo someone has scratched “Aaron” on the bottom. I think it ads to its charm. I love this little box so much. I don’t actually want to get rid of it! I will be sad to see it go, and not too sad if it stays either.
