Silver caged pearl drop earrings. (see desc.)

Can't be sure of the material. Non-magnetic metal, looks silver, comes with perfectly matching sterling silver earring backings marked "STER" and another marking I can't figure out. Earring itself has no maker's mark. Similarly, I think these are freshwater pearls but I can't tell for sure, as the beautiful cage setting gets in the way of all tests. A beautiful mystery, priced like costume jewelry. :-) This piece is part of a collection of vintage jewelry which has been in storage since the '90s. All functions are functional unless otherwise noted. All are in an unpolished condition, precisely as found. Please look closely at the images and / or video to note the exact condition.
