This allows for any non lifetime subscription that may be active to run out. I have sold many of them over the years with no issues. I guarantee that the subscription is good for the life of the radio. I have been selling online for over 15 years and I plan on many more years. I will be around for a long time if any issues arise. The subscription is only available for THIS radio. It is not transferable. The consensus online is that Sirius will shut off any lifetime subscriptions if you try to transfer them, as neither of us are the original user. I'm not sure how accurate that is, but I don't plan on trying it. All serial numbers are recorded.
