Size M Vintage 1960s Mayfair Garment Gibson Girl Boutique Tweed Set

Vintage 1960s dress with matching blazer jacket. Dress has a woven tweed skirt with pink polyester bodice, back zipper, attached neck ties, bust and back shoulder darts, short cuffed sleeves. Lined. Blazer has patch pockets with flaps, faux breast pockets, braid trim, gold colored metal buttons, metal chain around inside hem, probably to hold jacket in place when worn. Lined. Colors are pink, tan, black. ***Some light marks on neck ties on dress, light mark on blazer shoulder, a few pulls on jacket lining and a few overall pulled threads in tweed part (see last photos).*** Set has not been dry cleaned, marks may come out with cleaning. Labels Say Fashioned and Tailored by Mayfair Garment Montreal, Gibson Girl Boutique, Victoria BC, 77% Fibraine 3% Wool 14% Acrylic, Dry clean only, and there is a Canadian union label. Should fit a size Medium. Dress measures about 38.5" around bust, 30" around waist, 41" around hip, length is 41". Jacket measures 38" around bust, 33" around waist, 40" around hip, length is 24.5". Fabric does not stretch. Shown on a size small model with 34" bust. This is a pre-loved vintage second hand item.
