Small Vintage JAPAN purple glass oil lamp, bar globe lamp Genin Trudeau

...novelty bar ware mantel light, Victorian style boudoir lamp A sweet smaller oil lamp, in the style of Victorian Bar Globe lamps. The shade with a decal " S (lips) X" possibly spelling out S E X, and therefore very much suited for a boudoir or cathouse. The oil lamp is made from glass, the milky white base with straw marks, the foot and shape in a painted purple colour. The brass holder for the wick works, but it will only grab the wick when pushed in - when it moves sideways the wicks slips and falls into the folder. Currently without oil (dry) and will be kept that way for shipping purposes. There is a label underneath that reads " Produit Genin Trudeau Product Montreal Toronto JAPAN" Condition: With marks of age and use, some flaking to the paint and bit of blackening to the wick.
