Known for their handsome, recycled wool shirts and coats, B.C.‘s Anián tried their hand at crafting a twill overshirt two years ago and the result was this sublime take on the workwear classic. Twill’s well known for being tough, durable, yet smooth to the touch; Anián went one further and made this shirt from an ultra-soft, brushed cotton variation that feels like flannel, though holds up to wear thanks to its hefty 15-oz weight. Anián calls this piece an “ideal option for those who don’t like the feeling of wool,” a bonus for those averse to the fabric, and like wool this twill breathes while it retains warmth. What’s more, it’s made with zero dyes in a process that saves water, which is always awesome.
