Solid hand carved natural wood large elephant sculpture

Solid hand carved natural wood large elephant sculpture The mother elephant and baby are incredibly detailed, intricate, and lifelike in this driftwood carving. Even the tusks are wood, not sure if inserted or carved from solid. Freestanding and heavy piece. Lichen can be seen growing on the backside of the wood, as shown. Measures approximately 19 1/4” tall x 6” wide x 3 1/2” deep I have gently brushed the surface but may have dust particles as well as what looks like clay in some of the crevices. In as found condition. Please view photos for condition. No damage to carving, but small edges to the driftwood are either cut away or have come off. Unknown species of wood, looks a little like red cedar, but seems too heavy to be that. No offensive odours. Smoke free, cat friendly home.
