Sophisticated navy wool French couture dress, FR38, NWT

Asymmetrical navy wool dress by Lefranc-Ferrant Paris in size FR38. It's a sophisticated, dynamic cut with no side or back seams. The dress closes in the front left with a two-way zipper so you can can adjust the height of the slit. Artfully draped elegant ruffles are cascading along both sides of the zipper from the shoulders down to the raw edge hem. There is a cool welt pocket in the back with button closure. The dress drapes beautifully, showcasing feminine curves and hugging in all the right places. Composition: 95% virgin wool, 5% lycra. The shoulder seam is finished with purple silk. Unlined. Made in France. Dimensions: armpit to armpit flat is 44.5cm, length 108.5cm. Because of lycra the dress has some stretch. Lefranc-Ferrant Couture House was founded by Béatrice Ferrant in 2003, and this dress is from 2004. It's a rare find, a piece of French couture history. It's never been worn.
