Spectacular Vintage Lucite Abalone Shell Tray Retro Boomerang/Kidney Shape

Now here's a statement piece for a bathroom counter or vanity! This fantastic lucite tray features two abalone shells as the tray wells for holding pins, elastics, jewelry or any other baubles. It's embedded with pieces of shell and rock, the rock pieces almost look like banded agate though it's hard to tell for sure. Gold glitter and sand filld in the empty space and it has that classic boomerang shape that was so popular in the 50s and 60s. What a wonderful piece for lovers of lucite, shells, and midcentury kitsch! Very good vintage condition, there are some scratches in the abalone shells and light scuffs on the lucite surface. 9.5" long at the longest point.
