Steiff Brummbär Blond 18 in Growler Bear, #0226/48 West Germany

This Steiff Brummbär plush bear measures 18 inch laying flat. Dark blonde with cream colored felt foot pads and brown stitched nose and brown eyes. Jointed head, arms and legs and working growler. Original Steiff “Button-in-Ear” brass button with yellow tag: Steiff Knopf im Ohr 0226/48. Made in West Germany dates the bear to the 1980s. Covering: 60% wool, 40% cotton. There are some scratches to the left eye and the fur near the left paw pad is a bit thinner than on the right side. The back of the tag is faded. Defects not very noticeable and bear is clean.
