Stewart Jacobs Art Lamp

Stewart Jacobs is a Squamish Nation ceramic artist whose work is held in collections worldwide. He started to carve in 1979 and formed the “Free Spirit Pottery” in 1986. It seems this was a personal gift from the artist himself, signed "Love Stewart Jacobs, Merry Christmas 98" It's hard to believe that it's already 26 years old, it honestly looks as if it was made yesterday. The colors are fantastic, condition Immaculate. There is no filter on my photography. This piece moved me to want to learn how to restore vintage lamp shades. This is my first attempt, I am super pleased with the outcome. Made from white "real linen" the shape & height of which was chosen to add a touch of MCM to this beautiful, practical work of art. The base has a diameter of 10" with the shade it stands 23" tall.
