Both of these shortcomings are noticeable only upon careful examination. Description. Vintage stoneware farmhouse style mug. A blue-gray mug with a brown stripe on the bottom. Among the pansies stand two dapper geese with ribbons around their necks. The outer bottom of the mug is not covered with glaze. A bit of information. It is believed that the goose ribbon pattern first appeared in Karlovy Vary (Czech Republic). One of the masters painting porcelain spied it from a street artist and transferred it to the dishes.
