Studio Pottery Jug

Canadian studio pottery jug by Elaine Hughes-Gaines, one-time President of the Okanagan Potters Association. Hughes-Gaines is sadly recently deceased, leaving behind an incredible legacy of pottery and community. This jug, or pitcher, has a deep molasses glaze with a more toffee glow over the pronounced ripples. The potter’s mark is clearly seen under the handle. Perfect for display, or use, be it for wine, sauce, water, or a bouquet.
