Studio Pottery Teapot

This 8 cup teapot is by Alberta potters, Carol and Richard Selfridge. The Selfridges are renowned for their fanciful two-dimensional art pieces and for their high quality functional pottery. This teapot is of the latter: beautifully designed and crafted, large enough to offer several pours of your favourite cuppa and just as tea is, calming in its softly speckled and blue design, ever so slightly of the Hamada-Leach aesthetic and yet encompassing soft hues reminiscent of the Alberta prairies and sky. It’s a beautiful piece to admire, and moreso, to use. Excellent vintage condition with no chips, cracks, or stains. Vintage, yet like new.
