Studio Pottery Vase

Canadian studio pottery porcelain stoneware vase by Lillian Forester of Ontario. This vase distinguishes itself from all others - namely the brown earthier tones frequently seen thrown by many - with its soft shades of green, yellow and rose, without treading on pastel territory. The colours pass over the pale clay body like morning-sky clouds. Forester has been a potter since the 1970’s. This seemingly ephemeral vase has no chips or crazing, and is signed by the artist.
