Stunning Florenza Signed Vintage Antiqued Gold Tone Statement Necklace

The necklace is in excellent condition with all stones intact. It was worn a handful of times. Florenza was a costume-jewelry brand manufactured by Dan Kasoff, Inc. of New York. The company began marking its own production with the “Florenza” name around 1949-1950. Their designs are known for Victorian revival or Renaissance revival style influences. Gold-tone (or gold plated) cast metal bases, often adorned with glass stones, cabochons, faux pearls, enamel and other details are the hallmarks of this brand. The brand ceased operations around 1981 when Larry Kasoff (son of founder Dan Kasoff) closed the firm after an accident.
