Stunning Genuine Vintage Dress. Prom, Red Carpet, Cocktail, Wedding XXS.

Hand made early 1960's by a professional dressmaker. Green sheer silk covers an iridescent taffeta. The iridescent taffeta (under) is pink and cream. It changes colour in the light...captured in the pics (you can see it's kind of pink and kind of cream) The waist is tiny....what did they eat in the 1950's?? Nylon tulle skirt under the taffeta which gives the skirt its body. In the pics it is attached to the dress with safety pins but when you wear it, you will tie it around your waist.. There are tiny straps to keep a bra in place. The zipper is in great condition...it is metal and has the properties of a vintage metal zip. **Measurement Notes** Measured to the best of my ability. There is an allowance on both sides of about 1/4-1/2" (so 1/2" to 1" allowance total). The alteration would need to be done by a skilled seamstress because you need to let out both the taffeta and the delicate sheer silk overlay. Waist 11" Pit to pit: 14.5" Length of bodice from shoulder to waist: 14.5 Length of skirt from bodice to hem 26" There is no allowance to lengthen the dress. Colours can appear different on different screens. I have done my best to check over and found no flaws. If that changes I will update the posting. Mistakes can happen but if it does, be sure it is a minor flaw that is not noticeable by a professional eye.
