Stunning Vintage Black silk Hand Embroidered Cherry Blossom Sheath Dress

Rare and One of a Kind Custom Made Bespoke Vintage Gown. This stunning black maxi dress is perfect for a wedding guest or cocktail event, featuring a sleek sheath silhouette and a sophisticated mandarin collar. This is a vintage estate sale find and has been custom made. There are no tags present. The stunning cherry blossom design has been hand embroidered. It is composed of glass beads and sequins. Please see the last photo taken from the inside of the embroidery for confirmation of this. While there is no fabric tag this is certainly a lovely heavy silk fabric. The tailoring work is exquisite. The dress has slits on both sides and is accented with the Asian style closures. The dress closes with a side zip and hidden snaps as well as toggle closures at the neck. This dress is likely from the 1970's and has been lovingly stored since then. As a 50 year old vintage piece it has a slight vintage scent from its long years in storage. A dry cleaning will take care of this and you would want to fully refresh this lovely gown with a dry clean prior to wearing in any case. There is no size tag but this is quite a small garment and I am listing as as extra small.
