‘Striking’ vintage Mexican snake ring, designed in solid sterling silver with beautiful engravings.  The snake coils around the finger with highly polished.  Well made and the ring measures: 1-1/8” inches tall by 3/4”inches width, weight 4.22grams.. The ring is in excellent condition and hallmarked J.925 (tested)MEXICO, TAXCO and one maker mark. The ring currently is size 6 and is in excellent condition and dated at ca. 1960-1970.  Throughout the ages snake jewelry has been a favorite motif, as this slinky little creature represents a renewal of life. The shedding of the skin through sloughing is a symbol of rebirth, transformation, immortality, and healing.   A lovely vintage snake ring to own and wear. As I often a say…a sweet keeper!

blankcarolyn3 Hi, you asked if I check my Coral. I get my Silver jewelry from a company in Arizona. I just checked for smoothness of the stone, checked for bubbles and tapped it to make sure it doesn't sound like glass and to the best of my ability, I do believe this is Coral.😊
