Stunning Zuni Knifewing ring in silver, turquoise, onyx and mother-of-pearl

I discovered the following about the figure represented in this ring: "Knifewing, also Knife Wing, is a half man, half eagle Zuni spirit or god with razor sharp feathers made of flint. He is the ultimate warrior." Knifewing is often represented in Zuni jewelry, generally in silver with inlay of turquoise, onyx (or jet), mother-of-pearl (and in many cases also coral). The finer the detailing of the headress, earrings, wings and feathers, the more spectacular the piece. This size 7.5 (alas too big for me) ring is has wonderful details and is sure to become the topic of conversation. It is unmarked, as is the case of most similar pieces, but its materials have been confirmed by a jeweller. There is some natural colour variation and uneveness in the turquoise inlay, but I think this adds to the character of the ring. It is in great shape and I have had it professionally polished to further enhance its splendour. I don't know the age of the ring, but similar items I have seen are dated as mid century. I believe it is gender neutral, so I am cross listing it, but there is only one available!
