Stunning sterling and abalone leaf pendant

This piece, about 3 inches long including the bail, was purchased by a friend on her Far East travels. The lines of the leaf are marked in silver, which brings out the colours of the abalone. Stamped 925 on the back of the bail. In great shape, with some patina. It came with a simple cord, which I am including, but it would surely look even better on a silver chain. (d)
