Su Shannon is a ceramic artist who has produced a robust line of table and kitchenware. She uses a white stoneware and porcelain blend of clay which is tough when it's thicker and strong when delicately thin. She throws all pots on an electric wheel before hand painting them and the wares are bisque fired in her electric kiln, then clear glazed and fired to 2232 °F.
