I personally don't like to be referred to as sugar, sweetie, hun, dear, doll etc (I'm probably old enough to be your mother) Thank you! I also do not trade. lissay Strange... I went onto a Posh party today and started sharing items from many closets. I always go in and look at the rest if their closet. Probably went into 15 closets or more and noticed almost none of these Poshers share AT ALL!! They want others to share but don't share back??? redsumma I try my best to stay within the guidelines. I'm not perfect & have had a listing pulled but it was my fault. My ignorance = not reading all the rules. I try to believe we are all human & therefore will make a mistake now & then. It's the "on purposes" those that try to get away with used chewed up makeup eeww or pass of knock offs or mention the real designers name in a "but this isn't one of BRAND NAME" that should be penalized.

lissay @redsumma Do you know I came across a closet that had a crockpot, a birdhouse, mixing bowls etc. The entire closet was filled with items like that. I reported her several times but a month or two later it was still the same. It's risky for buyers too. Could you imagine buying a hover board (seen a few closets with those) and getting a package of socks. What are you going to report to posh?

redsumma Oh yes. The smorgasbord of used dental floss & perfume so old it looks like dark beer. Some of the things you see. Do these people have any pride? I may not have louboutins but everything has been washed & dried. And I'm embarrassed I didn't iron them. Guess it's just the way I was brought up.

lissay I want to warn sellers to not sell to a gal under the name of urbanbuffalo. If you look at her profile, all of the comments underneath where she opens up claims and disputes on pretty much every item she purchased, even new ones. She can be rude and insulting. Those are just the people that made comments on her profile.

lissay I'm sure there are many others out there who didn't comment like me that she's done that to. I have asked Poshmark to look into it but I don't think that they have so I wanted to warn everybody! She told she accepted the boots I sold her by accident otherwise she would open to claim because they were complete trash and garbage and super worn out. I was so completely shocks because they were in Immaculate condition. Then I went on her profile and read all the other comments.

love_buzzz Beautiful closet! Everything is so organized well cared for. I am the same way, detailed oriented and I like to keep everything like-new. We definitely share an obsession for purses, lol :) Over the years I have collected too many, most never even used. I'm newer here and still have a lot to list. lissay @fun_family I tried many of those but they seemed like more work then they are worth. I would probably have well over 100k followers but I'm very picky about who I follow. I won't follow anybody that's not compliant. What I started doing that's worked out really well is I find somebody that I'm following that has a really beautiful closet & I go to their list of followers & check their followers closets for compliance & then follow them. I've been getting a lot of return followers that way!

love_buzzz @lissay Time consuming indeed. I just devoted half a day to trying a follow game. I haven't paid too much attention to those until today. A suggested user that I like tagged me to one so thought I'd try it. Took forever to visit everyone's closet (to check for compliance) and then the seller deleted the post before people were finished. Couldn't help but notice that the seller hosting the follow game did not reciprocate follows or shares, lol.

There are others that just don't care or use their not allowed items to actually scam people. If somebody purchases a product from you that's not supported they can't return it. If someone bought some pots and pans and you gave them a box of rocks they'd be screwed! lol

lissay @adells_boutique My biggest #1 suggestion is to make sure you video your items before you ship, if you don't already. I print off the shipping label and video it first than pan quickly and throughly over my item. 100% saved me when people tried to open cases!

I recommend some kind of organization when you have lots of listings whether it be by category of item, color etc. Consistency of photos is good to. Example all items have a similar background at the same distance. I personally don't like to much photo staging with props, frames etc. As a shopper, it really distracts (a little can be nice).

So the shoes are in one place, next you have skirts,etc. mine are all over the place and I see a lot of closets divided up by categories I just can’t seem to figure out how it’s done. lissay @aimeedlou actually it kind of a pain. The onlu way to do it currently it to share your listings. if you share them to your "followers" they move to the top of your closet. So you what you do is share them in the order you want them in you closet. So share all you shoes together, then all your pants, then dresses etc. I do my closet by color.

My closet may not have a super professional look, but everything is either new with tags or barely worn. I hate getting offers for cents on the dollar. I usually just decline. lissay @cattie011 You know I usually just block them. I don't counter offer or anything. If they are that far off they're just wasting my time. they're also not somebody I want shopping in my closet. It is my experience that people you give a big discount to usually are the ones that end up filing a complaint that's completely bogus.

lissay Many of my designer items I ask a bit more for, but most of those items are in like new condition with boxes, etc. I am open to reasonable offers. However, ridiculous offers will be rejected, and that account blocked. Example. I just received an offer of $30 for a $325 like new designer item offered at $150. 😒
