Susan Bristol Vintage Cardigan Sweater – L – Black/Cream

This vintage Susan Bristol cardigan sweater features a zigzag black and cream pattern with tiny black square sequins. It’s made of a lightweight wool blend (70% acrylic, 30% wool) and it has a zippered closure. Both comfortable and classy, it’s perfect for business casual days at the office, or weekend gatherings with friends. This piece is dated 2001, and is in remarkably good condition. Measures 20” (51cm) pit-to-pit and 22.5” (57cm) long; the sleeves are 22” (56cm) from shoulder to cuff. Founded in 1969 by Robert Lurie and based in Boston, MA, Susan Bristol operated as a sweater and knitwear designing and importing company. The line was known for its embroidery, beading and distinctive colours and prints. In the 1980s to early 2000s, the line was carried in over 1000 shops and stores throughout the US. The brand closed in 2006.
