Susan Bristol Vintage Lambswool Cardigan Sweater – Size M – Dark Grey

This vintage Susan Bristol 100% lambswool cardigan sweater features exquisite felted/beaded flowers set among delicate rhinestones and faux pearls. It has ruffled edges, and hidden snap closure. This piece is dated 2006, and is in remarkably good condition (note that one rhinestone is missing - refer to photo #3). It’s a richly-textured work of art that you’ll treasure for years to come. Measures 18” (45.5cm) pit-to-pit and 20” (51cm) long; the sleeves are 23” (58.5cm) from shoulder to cuff. Founded in 1969 by Robert Lurie and based in Boston, MA, Susan Bristol operated as a sweater and knitwear designing and importing company. The line was known for its embroidery, beading and distinctive colours and prints. In the 1980s to early 2000s, the line was carried in over 1000 shops and stores throughout the US. The brand closed in 2006.
