Suttles And Seawinds 1980s Vintage Wrap Patchwork Quilted Floral Folk Midi Skirt

Beautiful 1980s vintage reversible true wrap skirt from iconic Canadian indie brand Suttles and Seawinds by Vicki Lynn Bardon. Suttles and Seawinds is a staple of indie design for the last 40 years, out of Nova Scotia. Skirt is extremely well made, with 2 layers of patterned cotton broadcloth. The material is doubled up so it has some weight to it and the skirt won't go flying around while you wear it. Perfect for cottagecore or folky looks! One side is mostly navy blue with a subtle black pattern, with quilted patchwork accent fabrics in jewel tone dark green, teal, purple and burgundy at the bottom. This side has 2 deep front pockets. The reverse side has a lovely intricate pattern in navy blue, dark purple, dark green and black. Skirt ties at the front and wrap opens at the back. Skirt is in excellent vintage condition and made of 100% cotton. No size indicated. Skirt would work for most sizes, but I would recommend it for a Large to XL because you might get a bit too much poof at the waist in smaller sizes due to the heavy gathering at the waist. Measuring across the waist at the front panel of the skirt, from side seam to side seam, is about 15". Total length from waistband to bottom hem measures about 33.5".
