Bonjour! I’m sorry for my English! I wondered if the fabric, once tightly stretched, could give a little more than the value given. Also, if there are bust darts, this may add a little to the measurement. It’s for a friend. She needs 20’’… Thank you for your understanding! Great day to you!

Hi Nathalie, the Vest is lined & isn't stretchy at all but my sister also doesn't have the ruler straight & it looks like it's probably a bit wider than 19.5" when it's measured properly. I'll be heading over there on Sunday & can re-measure the width & will update the measurement if it's larger than 19.5" wide for you!

Hi Nathalie! I measured the Vest & the Chest Measurement is actually just a titch over 20"! I have the pic attached for you, a crooked ruler doesn't measure so well does it lol I'm so sorry about that!
The next measurement pic is taken just above the pockets on the front (not real pockets though) for the waist & it is 19".
The final measurement of the very bottom of the vest is just a tiny bit over 18".
