Swatch Commander- connected watch

Vintage Swatch Commander Watch. The watch is working and a new battery is installed. Originally this had a “connected” function. This is just the watch. The item is vintage and must have been one of the earliest smart watches. The watch case contains a blue coil of wire around the perimeter which likely provided the connectivity. The crystal is great. Minor wear only on the case. The band has wear as shown in the photos. You could replace this with a new clear band for about $4 from AliExpress ’. This is a fascinating watch with an interesting history!
