SylvaC Pottery Planter Flying Duck with Cattails, Made in England

This is a charming asymmetric planter with a marsh scene on each side of cattails overflown by a duck with wings outspread. The handle of this pottery basket is fashioned to resemble green marsh grasses. It was made by SylvaC Pottery in Staffordshire England in the 1930s, model # 1851. It could be used as a planter, a vase or feature piece for a mantle or console. It is approximately 5 1/2 inches at its tallest point, 9 inches wide and about 3 1/2 inches deep. It is in very good condition with no cracks or chips. There is fine crazing scattered across the surface. Please see all the photos.
