Sterling silver, garnet, and marcasite brooch Silver is oxidized to give it an antique look 4.5 cm long (1.77") 1.6 cm wide at center (.63") 13 grams total weight 6 marquise, 4 pear, and 1 round garnet Garnets have good color and reflection but this is an observation, not a professional grading Silver design is a pattern of small dots interspersed with marcasites Two marcasites are missing but because the silver is dark, you don't really notice the missing stones Clasp in good working condition Purchased in Damascus, Syria in 2004 I've never had it appraised so I've based the price on what else I've seen on here and other sites.
