alavenir @mariahandsor Hello Maria, I noticed your offers on my 2 rings on Poshmark. I just want to let you know a few things: 1. Poshmark takes 20% from the total sale price and keeps it. So on $70, Poshmark takes $14. This leaves me with $56 dollars that Poshmark forwards to me 3 days after you receive the item, or sooner if you accept the item. see next

alavenir @mariahandsor part 2: The vast majority of my items are new and purchased from the USA. that means I spent USD to purchase; USD to pay broker fees, CAD duty fees, gasoline to drive back & forth to the USA, and time waiting in customs lines to enter and exit 2 countries. I purchase all my own shipping packaging, driving to Canada Post, and buying extras as thank you to my buyers.

alavenir @mariahandsor Part 3. So I base my prices on converting my items to CAD, while accounting for S&H. I also need to calculate POSHMARK'S 20% deduction. So the $56 I would receive from selling this ring does not come close to covering my costs. My items are reasonably priced. You will rarely find these quality items in-store for these prices.

alavenir @mariahandsor I am not trying to get rich. I'm just trying to cover my costs and make a very small profit. I am an RN who worked for 38 years and am now disabled due to 38 of nursing.
