Purchased at "Pearla" Gallery in Bora Bora, this 100% authentic Tahitian Black Pearls (South Sea cultured) master piece is absolutely stunning. The lariat (lassot style) necklace is constructed with black leather cords, knotted and suspended with eight natural colour, round to drop shaped pearls. TYPE of PEARL OYSTER: Pinctacia Margaritifera VARIETY of PEARL OYSTER: Cumingui PEARLS CLASSIFICATION: A/B PEARLS DETAILS: 2 (two) round pearls of dark semi black colour, very high luster, greenish to mauve overtone, 10.5 mm in diameter (one pearl is half drilled, the other fully drilled). 6 (six) large drop shaped pearls have a medium grey - platinum colour, fine orient luster. Pearls measure: 13.9mm x 14.4mm and 16.3mm x 12.5mm. Two of larger pearls exhibit grown rings at their crowns and very slightly spotted.
