Although this brooch is unmarked, it has the detailing of pieces produced by Czech jewellers in the early part of the last century. The filigree work, along with the texturing and shaping of the metal (likely gilded brass) is exceptional and remains near perfect. The pink stones provide a bright accent and are still clear and are not chipped or event scratched in any perceptible way. A newer clasp has been added to the original C clasp, which is still present and functional.
