Goldette was a popular and respected New York jewelry designer but for a brief period - from 1954 to 1977. Many Goldette pieces, like this one, were unsigned, but various distinctive design elements, including the meshwork, the antique finish and the teardrop hangtag, make the jewelry easy to identify. The choker is about 14-1/2 inches long and can be hooked close over about the last 2 inches.
