This gorgeous brooch draws on a familiar motif in Siam Sterling jewelry, though I have not yet found another fan exactly like this one. About 2-1/4 inches across by 1-1/3 inches high, the brooch is slightly domed making the fan come alive as it catches the light. I am not sure of the the age of the brooch, as Siam Sterling continued as a jewelry mark after Siam became Thailand in 1939. The brooch is in very good shape, with no visible scratches on the enamel.
