TDK SA60 High Bias Cassettes circa 1997 The TDK SA has been the benchmark for Type II cassettes for many years and was the cassette that deck manufacturers used to calibrate their decks with. No need for biasing, these just sound wonderful in any well maintained deck. (Tape made in Japan, manufactured in USA) *wrapped, unopened, mint condition. Some light scratching on some of the wrappers. Three available. Pictured also are a MAXELL XL II-S 90 minutes/135m, Black Magnetite Cassette - circa 2000 US A classic Type II. Great tape with a great shell. Has pronounced treble compared to its contemporary, the SA-X. Best used with decks with bias adjustment. This however gives it great bass too. When you get the bias right, this is a remarkably good cassette with superb dynamic range and low noise.
